3D Fall Christmas Trees Projects!
I continue my Fall Christmas Trees collection with a couple of 3D Fall Christmas Trees projects that are easy to find the time to create during the busy holiday season. Both use the Stitched with Cheer and Paisleys & Posies stamp sets, and the same fall colors as my previous Fall Christmas Trees project.
Everyone can use a Post-It Holder for those quick lists or notes to one’s self! They are another quick & easy project, making them another nice gift to have on hand year round! The scallop circle focal point was created using the Layering Circles Framelits. I started by stamping the “THANKFUL” portion of the saying (from Paisleys & Posies) on the lower center portion of the Very Vanilla cardstock circle using Early Espresso ink. I stamped the tree outline image (from Stitched with Cheer) on Tangerine Tango, Cajun Craze and Delightful Dijon cardstock, also in Early Espresso ink. Then I cut them out by hand (after all they are just straight lines!) and used Multipurpose Liquid Glue to glue them to the Very Vanilla circle. (Tip: Glue the middle tree in place first, using a ruler to help you space the trees and to glue them in a straight line.) The ribbon is one of three in the 3/8″ Ribbon Trio Pack and the Petals & Paisleys Specialty Designer Series Paper (3″ x 6-3/4″) are both from Stampin’ Up!’s Holiday catalog.
Who doesn’t like chocolate!?! Especially this time of year when you can find lots of special flavors for the holiday season! Somemores, Candy Corn and Peanut Butter! I love the image the “May your SEASON be cozy” (from Stitched with Cheer) conjures up…. sitting in front of the fireplace drinking hot chocolate and eating M&Ms.
Don’t like chocolate? Fill the bags with baked goods, coffee beans, candles, specialty shaped soaps or whatever else your heart desires.
