Altered Handmade “Hanging” Pad and Gift Box!

I’m continuing my theme of Sale-A-Bration products today with an Altered Handmade “Hanging” Pad and Gift Box using the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper. Both are examples of “more coloring”. They are small items so they don’t take very long to makee.

Altered Handmade "Hanging" PadI started creating these altered “Hanging” Pads as one of the items I sell at Vendor Fairs. I often package them with a mini gel pen. The book ring makes it convenient to “hang” from a purse strap so they are always available. They are the perfect gift for anyone who needs to have pen and paper handy all the time!

This one uses the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper (from Stampin’ Up!’s annual Sale-A-Bration promotion), the NEW Watercolor Pencils, and the Bee Die from the Detailed Dragonfly Thinlits Dies.

(Note: I will be posting a tutorial on how to make this later this week or next so be sure to be watching for it!)

Those of you who know me personally know I Inside the Lines Gift Boxlove to give little thank you gifts, or gifts of appreciation. Usually they include some type of candy or chocolate. This gift box is the perfect size for a Ferrero Rocher chocolate, a small Easter egg, or a few candies.

I watercolored  the FREE Inside the Lines designer series paper – and added touched of Wink of Stella (Clear) – before forming it into the box. I wanted an elegant way to close the top of the box. I think the Gold Binder Clips and 5/8″ Organza Ribbon were perfect for that! What do you think?

Again, the Inside the Lines Designer Series Paper is one of the FREE products still available through Stampin’ Up!’s annual Sale-A-Bration promotion. several of the other free products have already sold out and the inventory for many of the others is getting low. Go HERE to place your order before the supply runs out!
