Bloomin’ Love: My Valentine!

By | January 25, 2016

Yesterday I shared a pair of heart templates that I designed for the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies and the Bloomin’ Love Heart image. Today I have two additional projects that put the two heart templates to use. Both are quick & easy to create using the Love Blossoms Product Suite from Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog. (Note: I have included the same template at the bottom of this post!)

Add texture to the Real Red card front using the Happy Heart Embossing Folder, then glue a Tea Lace Paper Doily to the top center of the card. Stamp the “My Valentine” saying from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set on a small Whisper White template heart using Real Red. Sponge the edge of the small heart with Real Red, then add Clear Wink of Stella to the edge. Glue to the center of the doily. Tie a Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon bow and attach it to the card front using a Glue Dot. Add Clear Wink of Stella highlights to the ribbon bow.

Punch a 4-1/4″ x 1-1/8″ piece of Real Red card stock using the Confetti Hearts Border Punch. Glue to the bottom front of a Thick Whisper White card base. Die cut the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies Heart from Whisper White card stock. Glue to a large Real Red Template Heart and attach to the front of the card. Stamp Flowers from the Bloomin’ Love stamp set in Basic Black ink on Whisper White card stock. Color with Gold Wink of Stella. Cut using the coordinating dies from the Bloomin’ Heart Thinlits Dies set and glue in place on the card front. Stamp the Banner image on Real Red card stock with Basic Black ink. Cut using the coordinating die from the Large Numbers Framelits Dies. Glue in place. Color Rhinestone Basic Jewels with a red Sharpie and attach them to the centers of the flowers. Add a Real Red 1/4″ Cotton Ribbon Bow.

Here are the Heart Templates. Print them out at 8-1/2 x 5-1/2 for the correct proportions!
