Easy Handmade Coffee Card!
I love coffee! I also love quick and easy cards, so today’s Easy Handmade Coffee Card is the perfect combination for me! What makes it quick and easy? The use of the Coffee Cups Framelits Dies and the Big shot cutting tool.
I decided to keep today’s card fairly flat because I mail most of my cards. I was able to add dimension and texture, while still keeping it flat, by adding mats to the layers of Coffee Break Designer Series Paper before glueing them, and the pieced coffee cup, directly to the card front – no dimensionals. I sponged a Corrugated Elements Heart and added Copper Metallic Thread to the back before glueing it to the card front. The saying and banner images are from the Banners for You stamp set. They were stamped on Garden Green cardstock and cut with the coordinating Bunch of Banners Framelits. The Pool Party Heart and Circles from the Subtles Enamel Shapes add more dimension without adding a lot of height to the card.
I’ve said it before and I will say it again, I am enjoying playing and creating with the Coffee Cafe Bundle! So far I have stayed within the Coffee Break Suite for my project shares, so tomorrow I will venture out a little bit so I can show you ways to incororate other products, and techniques, in your Coffee Cafe creations.
