First Sight: Punched Flowers!

Only two days left to the unveiling of Stampin’ Up!’s Occasions Catalog and Sale-A-Brations Brochure! Both contain so many wonderful new projects that it was a challenge for me to decide which of them to give you a sneak peek of. If you have been following my blog this week then you know I decided on the First Sight stamp set, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack and punched flowers.

First Sight: Punched Flowers

I have used many of the same products for today’s card as I did for the cards in my previous posts – First Sight, Love Blossoms Designer Series Paper Stack – but I added in a few other products as well. Believe it or not there is a method to my “madness”. It continues to amaze me how our projects can look so different even when using the same supplies and I wanted you to be amazed as well!  Another reason will be shared later on this week, so make sure you come back to see the “why”.

Some of the other products you will need are shown below, however you will notice that there is no Rose Red Stitched Satin Ribbon pictured. That is because I dyed my own using the Rose Red Ink Refill and alcohol! (Note: If you scroll down you will see an adaptation of yesterday’s card share that also uses custom dyed ribbon!)

I ALWAYS keep white ribbons and Baker’s Twine in my inventory so I can custom dye them for my projects. Just make sure you use gloves if you don’t want ink all over your hands!!! LOL!I custom dyed my Whisper White Stitched Satin Ribbon using Blushing Bride for this adaptation of yesterday’s card sketch.
Feel free to leave a comment below letting me know what you like (or, heaven forbid, don’t like!) about these cards.
