Open House Make and Take
Today I am sharing my Open House Make and Take.
As soon as I saw this year’s Annual Stampin’ Up! Catalog I knew the Daisy Delight Bundle was going to be one of my “must haves”. Apparently I wasn’t the only person who felt this way because it went into backorder status very quickly. Fortunately it is available again, so I will share my Open House Make and Take with you today, and follow it with additional Daisy Delight Bundle projects over the next few days.
I saw a card similar to this one someplace online. I knew it would be the perfect project for my Open House Make and Take, if I gave it a couple of tweaks!
The base of the card is Smoky Slate. The two punched out daisies are Whisper White cardstock, stamped with Smoky Slate ink before punching them out with the Daisy Punch and layering them. The center of the daisy is stamped with Daffodil Delight ink and a Faceted Gem (available in Clear or Gold) was placed on top. The petals were then curled using a Bone Folder. The strip of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper was glued to the card front before attaching the layered Daisy. A length of Stampin’ Up!’s NEW Black Mini Sequin Trim was glued behind the petals with a Mini Glue Dot. The saying was stamped on the Basic Gray banner using Basic Black ink and then glued to the card front.
Designing and creating with the Daisy Delight Bundle is so quick and easy that I am not surprised it has been a very popular bundle. And Stampin’ Up! has provided a pack of cardstock that coordinates with the Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper to make it even easier. What more can you ask for?!?
