Pinch Top Gift Bag

I LOVE creating my own gift wrapping! Today’s blog post features a Pinch Top Gift Bag I created using Stampin’ Up!’s new Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper and the Delightful Daisy Bundle. It is a variation on the Pinch Top Gift Bags I made as give-aways for my Open House. (You can view those gift bags here! Scroll down to the second and third photos.)

Pinch Top Gift Bag

Featuring the Delightful Daisy Bundle, Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, Layering Circles Framelits, Facted Gems, and Gold Library Clips.

Both color combinations of these two Pinch Top Gift Bag were created using the Simply Scored Scoring Tool and a piece of Delightful Daisy Designer Series Paper, but any of Stampin’ Up!’s wonderful Designer Series Papers can be used for this project. The Pinch Top Gift Bag on the left features Calypso Coral as the focus color for the cardstock and ink, and a Gold Faceted Gem for the flower center. The Pinch Top Gift Bag on the right features Tranquil Tide, one of the NEW In Colors, as the cardstock and ink, and a Clear Faceted Gem for the flower center. Both bags have closures made using scallop circles from the Layering Circles Framelits. (Note: I used different sizes of scallop circles, but they are both the second largest scallop circle from each set of four within the collection. I couldn’t decide which size I liked best. Which size do you like?) The scallop circles are scored down the center and folded in half, with the back portion glued to the back of the gift bag. The saying is stamped on Whisper White cardstock and sponged with the matching ink, then glued to the front half of the scallop circle. A Gold Library Clip adds an elegance to the bag while helping to hold it closed. Don’t forget to curl the petals of your layered Daisy Delight flowers before gluing them to your card front! (Note: The gift bag on the right uses So Saffron cardstock for the Daisy Punch flower.)

I plan to make a video tutorial to share with you later this week, so be sure you watch for it. I admit I am both excited and nervous because it will be my first one, so be sure to share any feedback you have once I post it. Thanks!
