In my last post I shared a photo of some of my favorite new products from Stampin’ Up!’s new 2015-2016 Annual Catalog & Idea Book. I am loving the Bohemian Designer Series Paper collection! As with many of Stampin’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper collections… I am having a hard time deciding which of the two sides I like the most. The pattern(s) I used today are a perfect example of that! I couldn’t choose a favorite side… so I created two cards using the same card design/sketch and in the process have featured both sides of the same sheet of Bohemian Designer Series Paper. I am still amazed me how the colors one uses can create an entirely different look and feeling even when using the same stamp products!
The featured stamp set is “You’re So Sweet“. It was designed to be used for party favors and other sweet treats… but who says it can’t be for cards too?!?
This first card featured Delightful Dijon – one of the new 2015-2017 In Colors – as the main color. The mats, ribbon, ink and Word Window punch shape are Rich Razzleberry. I couldn’t resist adding the Rhinestone Pearls for a little shimmer and shine!
This monochromatic card (blues) features the other side of the Bohemian Designer Series Paper I used for the first card. I have used Bermuda Bay as the accent color for this card… including the Baker’s Twine bow. The Bohemian Designer Series Paper star was cut using the second smallest size from the Star Framelits.
