Valentine’s Mini Milk Cartons!
Milk Cartons are perfect for gift giving! Today’s Valentine’s Mini Milk Cartons were adapted from a pattern I found online. (Thank you, Pootles!) The Mini Milk Cartons look much more difficult than they actually are!
The base of the Mini Milk Cartons is Blushing Bride cardstock. I used Painted with Love Specialty Designer Series Paper (145580) for the panels. The small Sweet & Sassy Framelits (141707) hearts are Rose Red cardstock with Pearl Basic Jewels (144219) accents. I robbed my stash of mini clothespins to use while I wait for my new supply of Gold Library Clips (144130) to arrive.
Here is the template showing where to score your 6″ x 3-3/4″ piece of cardstock:
Tip: Place the two vertical score lines – used to form the scored triangle – so they are equal distance from the scoring groove of the Stampin’ Trimmer (126889), then score to the first horizontal score line.
These Mini Milk Cartons are wonderful for several reasons.
- If you make Oliver’s Milk Carton, then you will be able to create TWO of these Valentine’s Milk Cartons from the piece of cardstock you cut off the 12×12 cardstock you use for the original size milk carton. No waste!
- It is a great way to use up those scraps of Designer Series Paper, or embossed cardstock before they pile up and get lost in your stash.
- They are the perfect size for Ferrero Rocher chocolates!
