You’re So Sweet Treats!

By | June 6, 2015

It’s time for some You’re So Sweet Treats Punchboard party favors!

Summer break is often a busy time… with lots of wedding, family vacations, etc. especially here on Guam where everything revolves around the family! It is therefore a time when we all need quick and easy projects for all the parties and other celebrations. That is where the Envelope Punchboard, the You’re So Sweet stamp set and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits Die can come to the rescue in helping you create these sweet treats.

I came up with this 3″ x 3″ You’re So Sweet Treats party favor when a friend and fellow demonstrator asked for ideas on how to package sample bags of tea which she was giving to people. I immediately thought about the Envelope Punchboard and Stamping’ Up!’s Designer Series Paper Collection… knowing that it was a quick and easy project so a lot of them can be created in one sitting. It is a great idea for birthday party favors… or even “just because”!

This is my first project using the new Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack. (I am loving it as much as I do the Bohemian Designer Series Paper I used in my last blog post!) I wanted a colorful focal point so used Stampin’ Write markers to color the saying  in several different colors. In this case I used Bermuda Bay, Watermelon Wonder and Crushed Curry… all colors that are used in the Cherry On Top Designer Series Paper Stack. I used the Project Life Corner Rounder on the the corners of the the focal point and the mat for the focal point.

I used the measurements the Envelope Punchboard for the Gift Card size envelope to create the following Wedding Party Favor… but chose to use the small flap as the top of the party favor.

The accents provided by the Gold Embossing Powder, Gold Metallic Baker’s Twine and Fancy Foil Designer Vellum help to give it the elegant look necessary for wedding… or anniversary.

And, finally, a bonus project share to show you how I used the “Star Frame” left over from my project in yesterday’s  post!

Please leave a comment below letting me know what you would like me to post about on my blog.
